The role
We’re on the lookout for a Junior Learning Designer to join Atom’s Education team.
As part of the Education team, you’ll combine subject expertise with the power of AI to help reinvent GCSE exam preparation and create engaging courses that help thousands of students excel across a range of key subjects.
You’ll play a vital role in designing high-quality resources that challenge and inspire students, supporting them to become curious, capable, and confident thinkers. This is not just another content-writing role: it’s an opportunity to shape the future of learning.
Please note: this is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
What you will do
Create educational resources across a range of exam subjects (initially with a focus on French and Spanish) designed to motivate, stretch and challenge ambitious learners
Develop exceptional revision courses aligned with exam specifications
Master cutting-edge AI tools to create high-quality educational content at pace
Review and refine colleagues’ work to ensure clarity, accuracy, and curriculum alignment.
Who you are
Strong grounding (at least C1) in two or more foreign languages, including French and Spanish
Skilled at producing clear, high-quality written materials at pace
Adept at distilling complex ideas into concise, exam-focused revision materials
Curious and adaptable with the confidence to learn, experiment with and refine AI-enabled workflows.
Experience that would set you apart
Recent experience tutoring or teaching GCSE French and GCSE Spanish, with a strong familiarity with AQA exam specifications
Evidence of a real commitment to education through study, volunteering, or personal projects.
